[CONTENT WARNING:  Meant for mature audiences. This furry adventure game contains soft vore, (a softer form with no digestion called endo/endosoma), scenes of characters being swallowed whole, trapped in tight spaces, and sucked into all sorts of things. There are no actual bad endings, just different interactions.]

A "prototype" for a visual novel/adventure system that I ended up finishing into a small game, loosely based on vague memories of when I played Shadowgate many years ago. Interact with a weird forest, end up inside weird monsters, and see if my first attempt making something falls apart at the seems.

Left Click to progress the text, select menu items, and hit buttons. Right click deselects menu items. Use the map tab to get around between unlocked areas.

The scope is very limited, but I did so to try and see how many interactions I could fit in based on the order the player does things.

are there any bad ends?

None other than a joke easter egg. Is that something worth posting in the description? No bad ends?

With no saves, the knowledge that there are also no bad ends could convince people to play more boldly~

is there a download anywhere?

(+1)

Taking a break after finishing the initial push but I'm going to touch up on the writing for the typos (it was a prototype after all) and push a new build. I'll make a standalone downloadable alongside that.

can't boot the game
"Error
The following features required to run Godot projects on the Web are missing:
Cross Origin Isolation - Check web server configuration (send correct headers)
SharedArrayBuffer - Check web server configuration (send correct headers)"

SharedArrayBuffer support was turned on, which is required for Godot web games, so I'm not sure if it's a browser or pc error, as this is first I've heard. I'll look into making a downloadable executable soon, after I chill from the project for a couple days. Thanks for letting me know!

it seems to only happen when I use the itch.io app to download and play it, if I just hit 'run game' on the game page it runs fine but the version itch downloaded doesn't work when used in my browser (firefox) or in the app itself.
